National Highways Initiated the construction of a new footbridge over the River Cuckmere, e key component of the A27 East of Lewves highway improvements. This project aimed to complete a vital section of the multi-use pathway connecting Fiele to Pulegate, enhancing connectivity for pedestrians and cydlists within an area of significant natural beauty.

Our scope of work encompassed the construction of concrete abutments en both sides of the river, A core focus of our delivery was the meticulous implementation of environmental protection measures, ensuring aninimal disruption to the area's fragile ecosysters and preserving its inherent natural beauty
